Stratford in Bloom 2020 Competition will still be going ahead this year. Application forms will be available at the beginning of May 2020. Schools have been contacted and offered help where we are able. The awards ceremony will more than likely be either postponed or follow a different format but awards and certificates will still be presented.
Stratford in Bloom will be planting out baskets, planters and beds as normal so that Stratfordians can enjoy them during their daily exercise and more fully when restrictions are lifted. Our local contractor Blenheim Nursery will be practising social distancing and we would appreciate it if the general public respected this.

I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine:
There sleeps Titania sometime of the night,
Lull'd in these flowers with dances and delight.
