This year we have used our very old wellies we have been saving over the years and put them to good use. With a few of our groups the children chose a welly and planted them up. Some of the children helped to make holes into them and thought that the worms will like them. We practiced handling twine and cutting our own hazel whips to bend and make the decorated crown shape. The watering is very popular. We have put our entry outside our school entrance, a possible safe place but we have a few children who are pickers! So fingers crossed that they get a chance to flower. The plants were donated.
